Digital Boundaries for Diabetes: A Workshop on Healthy Engagement with Diabetes Content

  • Lauren Newman Nutrition Therapy, LLC (map)

Feeling overwhelmed by diabetes content online? You’re not alone! This interactive workshop and conversation will help you learn to navigate online diabetes spaces with intention, curate what you see, and create a supportive experience that protects your wellbeing.

The online diabetes community can be a powerful source of information and connection, but it can also feel overwhelming or stressful at times. In this interactive workshop and conversation, we’ll help you reflect on how you currently engage online, and explore what types of content feel supportive and empowering, vs what might be leaving you feeling unsettled.

You’ll learn practical strategies to make your digital spaces work for you, including tips for curating what you see, setting healthy digital boundaries, and engaging with intention to make the online diabetes community work for you. Whether you want to feel more in control of your social media experience or simply create a safer, more positive online space, this workshop will give you tools, insight, and a supportive environment to explore these ideas.

This workshop is brought to you by Lauren Newman Nutrition Therapy, You’re Just My Type, and Type One Together:  three organizations dedicated to supporting people with diabetes through wellbeing, education, and community connection.
